CNY Loh Hei pics

My wife's friends came over during the Chinese New Year (CNY) period to "loh hei" .. :D also a great way to liven up the place ...

here they are playing mahjong, most of you know that i don't play mahjong .. haha.. so i conveniently donated a few dollars to the table.. (erh, then again, the money wasn't ours, it was one of my wife's friend's pot .. haha ^^)

How I wish it wasn't summer all year round

I just came back from a work trip to Hongkong .. (24 Feb - 1 March).... it has been about 2 years since I last visited Hong Kong so it was good to visit again .. and of course, going there for work is the best, ... hee,hee .. good hotel and good food mah .. (^^)

Read the weather forecast before I left and was told to expect around 16 degrees ... by the second day, the weather had turned cold and the lowest recorded was 11 degrees!!! .. hahah .. was caught a little off guard but nevertheless enjoyed the cold .. :) and luckily I brought my work suit... phew!!! ..

It was good change of environment from the usual clammy air in Singpaore. ^^"

I realised that HK is really a city that never sleeps, the shops close sooooooooooooo late .. like around 10.30pm ... that's 2 hours more than Singapore ... at least over in HK if you work late, you still can do some shopping hor.. maybe the Singapore government can consider this .. then we will truly be a cosmopolitan city .. too bad we can't do much about the weather .. :)

Chinese New Year 2008

Happy New Year !!! ... Another year, ... the year of the RAT, the year my son is born !!! ^^

Steph is more than 7 months pregnant now.. we are both enjoying the pregancy period ...
It has been tough yet fulfilling changing our lives in anticipation of our little one ....

of late, there has a been a lot of rumbling in Steph's tummy, obviously from our son. I think he picked that attribute from me since everyone knows i am quite animated for 90% of the time .. hahaha ..

I think i will miss these times .. not sure why. Maybe because of the quiet time we can spent together .. with our son in side the tummy ( and not crying when he is out) ...

Christmas 2007 ... my first Xmas in my own home

As usual, i have been getting complaints from friends about not updating the blog .. haha .. trying to adjust ..

Life's been a roller coaster recently, preparation for the arrival of our baby boy (YES, IT IS A BOY!!!!) ... hahha

anyway, in december we had a small gathering at my place, organized by my Circle of Female friends .. hahah .. It is our FIRST and LAST christmas party as a couple. Next year, same time, same place, it will be 3 of us.

Glimpses of Japan (29 Nov - 10 Dec 2007) Part 1

Steph and myself recently went on our 2nd trip to japan .. this time at a more relaxed pace since Steph is getting "bigger" hahah.. .. it was really nice, we dictated the pace, if we felt like waking up later .. we just wake up later lor .. no tour guide to hurry you .. no running around in a bus with tonnes of other tourist ..

As usual, good food, good shopping, burnt pockets ^^" ... but happy souls .. :)

Passion in life

5 months on after my customary wedding in August, life is good... and it will get better

so here are the highlights:

1. This is the most important, my wife Stephine is PREGNANT ! she is 5 months pregnant now
2. My baby is a BOY ! !!!!! ^^
3. Finally got used to my job ... ^^' it is still pretty tough due to very different cultures
4. We just went for our postponed honeymoon in Japan, it was AMAZING !!!
